有些事其实没必要。你心里会想：算了吧，干嘛要这样。这个时候中文里我们常说，何必呢？那英语怎么表达这种感觉呢？这种感觉英语里也有不同说法。

·比如why bother？意思是，何必呢？干嘛要费这个劲，常用在你觉得这件事不值得做。

→If it doesn't mean anything，why bother？如果这没什么意义，何必呢？

→Otherwise， why bother，right？不然的话，何必呢？

→Yeah，I got that but why bother？what's the point？意思是这有什么意义，何必做这个，常用在你觉得做了也没用。

→what's the use？干嘛要费这个劲/何必呢？意思是没有什么用，常用在你觉得一点实际作用都没有。

→So what's the use？为什么为什么？why's the use？意思是there's no need，没必要(较礼貌)，语气比较礼貌、比较缓和，常用在让对方不用这样。

→There's no need for you to talk to me like that，okay 你没必要那样跟我说话，好吗？

→But there's no needto take it out on the rest of us.why bother？

→There's no need to bring that up 没必要这样争吵，但也没必要把气撒在其他人身上。

没必要提起那件事，干嘛要费这个劲/何必呢？

you don't have to意思是：你不用这样，没必要语气比较轻，比较体贴。you don't have to do this 你没必要这么做。

you don't have to punish yourself forever Katie，你没必要一直惩罚自己。

you don't have to ask that's really nice，but you don't have to come over here to check on me.

why would you？意思是：你为什么要这样，何必这样。常用在你真的不理解对方为什么要这么做。why would you even say that？why would you even ask me。why would you do why would you say that。
