评论区比较热闹，绝大多数评论是批评PSE，并且检讨华州在前任州长Jay Insless的带领下选择并实施的激进环保政策。

2024年11月华盛顿州遭遇大风袭击导致大面积长时间停电的时候，我在Nextdoor上发帖批评PSE，那时候评论区里有大概有三分之二的人站在PSE一边反对我。不知道这三分之二的人里有多少在过去两年里改变了他们的看法。

看到评论区里绝大多数人对华州的激进环保政策持批评态度，我有点吃惊，也有点欣慰。然并卵，华州生生世世深蓝，跟加州是一对好兄弟。所以，涨价就忍着吧（只可怜了我这种没有选举权和投共和党的华州选民）

英文原帖如下。Just got my PSE bill. It includes a $$91.73 “power cost adjustment” which, if I understand correctly, is a fee they can add if thier wholesale costs went up more than expected.

You’ve probably heard they are requesting new rate increases: 17.75% in ‘27, 3.7% in ‘28, and 8.7% in ‘29. This after passing on more than 30% the previous 3 years. This is unsustainable & inexcusable.

The rate increase public review is Sept 29 in Lacey. There is also an online zoom mtg on Oct. 7. You can also call the UTC at 888-333-9882 & leave a comment or go to utc.wa.gov/consumers/submit-comment. (Docket UE-26005)

If you get Natural Gas from PSE - rates are also being requested to increase.

I’d also encourage everyone to contact their reps and tell them we need PSE (a for profit Canadian company) replaced by a public utility district. PUDs across the state have lower electric fees and are more accountable to constituents.
